On 11th November 2022, Department of Civil Engineering, MCET has organized a industrial visit
to Survey of India for B.E 3rd Year Students, to expose the students to Modern surveying techniques
of Field survey. Students participated in the visit very actively and shared their feedback
positively. They expressed their willingness to have such visits very often.

Rural Technological Park, NIRD
On 15th March 2023, Department of Civil Engineering, MCET has organized a visit to Rural
Technology Park, NIRD for B.E 2nd Year Students, to expose students to low cost housing
techniques and other sustainable materials concepts. Students participated in the visit very actively
and shared their feedback positively. They expressed their willingness to have such visits very
often.

National Academy of Construction, Hyderabad
On 16th December 2022, Department of Civil Engineering, MCET has organized a industrial visit
to NAC for B.E 2nd Year Students, to expose the students to building and construction materials
and construction techniques including Bar bending, welding, brick laying, plumbing etc.. Students
participated in the visit very actively and shared their feedback positively. They expressed their
willingness to have such visits very often.

Industrial Visits
Department of Civil Engineering of MCET students ( VI Sem) visited construction site of Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP), Nagole, Hyderabad on 23-Apr-2022.
Sewage treatment is the process of removing contaminants from wastewater, primarily from household sewage. It includes physical, chemical, and biological processes to remove these contaminants and produce environmentally safe treated wastewater (or treated effluent).

Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project
To provide practical knowledge of the irrigation projects to Civil Engineering students, the Department of Civil Engineering of #MCET organized an Industrial visit to Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation project on 13th & 14th May 2022.
The Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project or KLIP is a multi-purpose irrigation project on the Godavari River in Kaleshwaram, Bhupalpally, Telangana, India. Currently the world’s largest multi-stage lift irrigation project.
Students visited :
A. Lower Manair Dam
B. Sundilla (Parvati) barrage
C. Annaram pump house
D. Pooduru check dam
E. Ranganayak Sagar reservoir

Industrial Visits
Industrial Visit to Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation project
Industrial Visit for III and IV year students to 5 packages of Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation project for two days each. It was a two trip visit once for each year students. IV year students on 30th September and 1st October, and III year students on 7th and 8th of October 2018.
